Apprentice Shift Manager

Job Introduction

Pizza Hut Delivery have partnered with the training provider Babcock Training to offer you the opportunity to work towards a level 3 apprenticeship, to expand your management skills and knowledge by working for the UK’s fastest growing restaurant brand.

This is an opportunity where with every passing day you get to learn and grow as a leader. We will task you with directing and supervising a team in the fast-paced setting of a Pizza Hut Delivery operation. The biggest part of the role is motivating the team to turn orders around quickly and efficiently, keep the customers happy and maximise those all-important profits.

This role will offer opportunities for you to develop and possibly even become a Restaurant General Manager in the future in our ever expanding UK business.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure that our customers receive our world famous products on time, every time
• Strive to run every shift to optimum level by driving sales, customer service and cost control whilst exceeding brand standards
• Proactively solving issues and analysing root causes to prevent recurrence 
• Build strong relationships with customers, team members and managers, head office departments and suppliers etc.
• Provide coaching to team members to achieve consistent results
• Take responsibility for safety, security, daily operational checks (health and safety, food hygiene etc.) and stock levels.
• There may be a requirement for you to work in other Pizza Hut Delivery hut locations to suit business needs. 

The Ideal Candidate

Here’s what we’re looking for:

• A keen interest to learn about how to coach, support and supervise team members
• Excellent IT, communication, planning, organising and time management skills.
• High standards and pride in your work.
• A commitment to learn new skills, increase your knowledge and grow a career at Pizza Hut Delivery
• Previous experience within a fast paced customer service setting would be advantageous

Eligibility:

Please note, to be eligible for our Apprenticeship programme:

• You must have lived in the EU for more than 3 years
• Not hold a University Degree
• You cannot be completing any other Government funded training or qualifications.
